This 7-day safari lets you witness the Great Migration and other exciting animals. This program will immerse you in the unspoiled nature of real Africa, and accommodations are luxurious. All this with the assistance of a tour operator based in Arusha. You will have 4 nights on the Serengeti and be allowed to take in the vast Serengeti plains. You will spend two days searching for the historic wildebeest migration. You’ll enjoy full board meals on safari and a professional English-speaking guide.
On this day, your safari guide will pick you up from Arusha and proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive with a picnic lunch.
Lake Manyara National Park covers an area of only 330 sq km (127 sq miles), of which up to 200 sq km (77 sq miles) is made up of the lake when water levels are high. Lake Manyara is an excellent place for bird watching and a good area to find elephants, giraffes, zebras, baboons, warthogs, buffalos, and maybe even a legendary tree-climbing lion! At some point during your game drive, you should get out of your vehicle at the hippo pool to stretch your legs and observe the hippos here.
After breakfast, your safari guide will pick you up from your hotel and drive you up to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will continue crossing the Ngorongoro Highland up to the entrance of Serengeti National Park, where you will start the game drive. In the evening, you will head to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
Serengeti is a park located in Northern Tanzania and is a World Heritage Site. It occupies an area of around 15,000 sq km with over 2 million herbivores, 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, 550 cheetahs, and some 500 bird species. This area is filled with massive herds of migratory wildebeest and zebras during the dry season. However, the Northern Serengeti also supports an abundance of resident wildlife including lions, elephants, hippos, giraffes, crocodiles, and the rare oribi antelopes.
After breakfast, you will go for game viewing heading to the Northern part of Serengeti where you will stay for 2 days. You will move around the area of Bologonja and Mara River to witness the great wildebeest migration.
The great migration is the most significant herd movement of wildebeest, zebras, and other animals crossing the Mara River to Masai Mara in Kenya. The best time to visit and witness the great migration is from July to early October every year.
You will spend the full day in Northern Serengeti National Park. We are completely flexible towards your preferences and the day will be organized according to your wishes. Your guide will discuss with you the best timing for your game drives.
In Northern Serengeti around July to September thousands of wildebeests and zebras battle the strong currents and huge Nile crocodiles to reach the other side of the river, where they head to the Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya.
You will wake up early and enjoy breakfast. Then, you'll continue with a game drive with a picnic lunch box in Northern Serengeti National Park as you keep a keen eye on the activities of the great migration. Later, you will drive back to Central Serengeti National Park, where you will stay overnight.
Today, we suggest a very early wake-up to go on a game drive when the animals are more active (you will also see one of the best sunrises of your life). This is one of the most beautiful experiences you can have on safari. After your game, you will be transferred to Ngorongoro Highlands for your dinner and overnight stay.

You will start the day very early with a transfer to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you will descend into the crater floor for an incredible morning of wildlife viewing in one of the most stunning places on Earth. After a fantastic afternoon game drive, you will ascend out of the crater and transfer to Arusha for your departure.
Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the natural wonders in Africa. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world's largest, uninterrupted caldera! About 30,000 large mammals reside here year-round, including buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos. Inside the crater, you will explore the spectacular landscapes and relax in this magnificent environment, looking for the Big Five and many bird species like flamingos on the crater lakes. Be ready to see a large variety of animals in a short time!
